A few notes.......
This is by no means a complete history of the uniforms worn in the NHL, PCHA, WCHL, or any other league that played for the Stanley Cup. Artifacts and photos from the early years are extremely rare and in some cases the photos are near impossible to make out. Because of this some uniforms may be missing, slightly inaccurate or an educated guess was needed to determine the colour scheme. Wherever applicable these discrepancies are noted and will be fixed as new information comes to light. It should also be noted that a small handful of the earlier sweaters on this site differ somewhat from some replicas that have been seen by the public. We're not intending to start a controversy, we are merely trying to be as faithful to the original designs as possible.
